Modern Minimal Kitchen
A series of CGI still images and 3d animations produced to explore the different functional and design features of kitchen appliances set up against the backdrop of a modern Scandinavian kitchen interior.
AI-Assisted Animation & Art Direction Workflow
The animation process combined AI-driven image-to-video workflows with a carefully curated art direction approach to create a refined, premium visual environment for the appliances. Rather than building a traditional fully CG interior animation from scratch, we used AI-assisted generation as a creative tool to rapidly explore different spatial scenarios.
The initial phase focused on developing a neutral yet sophisticated kitchen environment that would complement the product rather than compete with it. Through controlled image generation and iterative refinement, we established a contemporary interior language built around subtle textures, balanced proportions, soft natural lighting, and minimal architectural details. The goal was to create a timeless backdrop where the appliances remained the primary visual focus.
With visualizing food we also use AI, but not as a replacement for 3D. Instead, it serves as a final layer of realism, enhancing fine details, textures, and subtle imperfections while the underlying 3D scene provides the structure, lighting, materials, and composition. This hybrid workflow delivers consistent, controllable results across iterations while achieving a level of realism that would otherwise require significantly more production time.
